We have HME and other processing capabilities pilot at our global Center of Excellence in Belgium, where we optimize functional mix ingredient solutions seasoning, savoury, texturizers for a specific end applications. Once the recipe and process have been set for a specific application, we leverage our global network of tollers/ manufacturers around the globe. At the end we sell our mix ingredient solutions . Given your client end product application and protein source, we can assist your client with the formulation and processing technologies. Usually, HME is used at 140°C and 50bars but milder conditions can be used depending on the protein source and these milder conditions will give a better taste close to the meat and involve the use of a different extrusion equipment/machine than the one using higher temp. 140°C and pressure 50 bars.
